24-hour specialist high-support service for adult men moving from inpatient care with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental health needs, substance use and histories with the Criminal Justice System.
Based in Lewisham, New Hope is a male-only service that has delivered specialist accommodation-based intensive support for over 25 years. During this time, we have provided a safe environment for hundreds of men to successfully progress to independent living or step down to lower support provision.
New Hope is a 24-hour specialist high-support service for men moving from inpatient care with a diagnosis of severe and enduring mental health needs, substance use and histories with the Criminal Justice System. We work closely with clinical and criminal justice colleagues to reintegrate people on the forensic mental health pathway into the community safely and successfully.
New Hope is a 13-bed, 24-hour supported accommodation service that provides a safe, enabling, and Psychologically Informed Environment for successful progress to independent living or lower support provision.
We offer high support and trauma-informed approaches to help service residents reintegrate into the community.
We provide a supportive environment that focuses on developing techniques to help reduce the factors that lead to their previous mental health deterioration and experience with the Criminal Justice System.

All referrals come through the South London and Maudsley NHS Trust.
