Home About us Governance & Compliance at SIG

Governance and Compliance

Social Interest Group has a dedicated Quality & Compliance Team to keep residents, participants, members, colleagues, and the organisation safe.

We focus on creating and maintaining a positive safety culture where everyone feels confident in reporting mistakes or adverse events and supported in learning at individual, service, and organisational levels.

Policies and Procedures

We do this through embedding robust frameworks for safeguarding, whistleblowing, data protection, health and safety, internal audits, and reporting and responding to feedback, accidents, incidents, and near misses.

A suite of up-to-date policies, procedures and systems for archiving and document control supports this. We ensure that reporting to the Health and Safety Executive, Charity Commission, Care Quality Commission, and other regulatory bodies is timely and accurate and that we have suitable systems to maintain our ISO 9001 Quality Management System certification.
